My Journey: A Story of Setbacks, Strength, and Starting Again.

“My dreams took a U-turn, but I kept driving—because stopping was never an option, “Once, I dreamed of healing with stethoscopes… now I heal with strength and survival. My journey didn’t go as planned—but maybe, that’s the beauty of it." Like many people, I hated math. But I was always passionate about science. I wanted to explore, discover, and learn more—so naturally, my dream was to become a doctor. That dream led me to choose BiPC in intermediate. I gave it my best, preparing hard for EAMCET and NEET. I qualified, but I didn’t get into MBBS. Still, I wasn’t ready to give up. I looked at other specializations, but unfortunately, my family didn’t support those decisions. So, I chose B. Pharmacy. Once again, I set high standards for myself and pushed forward. But college life wasn’t easy. I ended up around the wrong people, went through a lot of emotional stress, and felt isolated for a long time. Eventually, I pulled myself up, changed my routine, and started fresh. I made good...

Tides of Sorrow

The island of Miravel was a land of seasons, each bringing its own song. Spring arrived with soft breezes and golden light, painting the cliffs with wildflowers and filling the air with the scent of salt and blooming jasmine. Winter wrapped the land in white snow, much like how humans conceal their sorrows and struggles beneath a quiet facade. Monsoon, with its terrifying and relentless storms, became a test of survival, as the people clung to hope, longing to see another day. There was A boy and a girl were born together, growing up side by side, always supporting each other. As they stepped into adulthood, their bond remained unshaken. They were blessed with three children. The father, a captain and sailor, spent his life at sea, while the mother, a poet, found beauty in words. Their lives flowed smoothly, nurtured by the very sea that had always provided for them. But then, a storm struck—not just the waves, but their hearts. They lost their youngest child to the sea, the very ocean...

Unfinished Battles

Orchid had always been a dreamer. She knew what she wanted—to pursue her favorite course and build a life she could be proud of. With unwavering determination, she stepped forward, ready to fight for her goal. But life had its own script. She failed. Once. Twice. Thrice. Each attempt chipped away at her confidence, but she refused to give up. She decided to pursue an MBA, believing higher studies would give her another chance at her dream. Then came love—a love that wasn’t love at all. He expected her to be a gem, flawless and bright, while he drained her like a leech, taking everything—her kindness, her money, her self-worth. She held on, thinking love meant sacrifice, but one day, the weight of truth crushed her. Love shouldn’t make her feel empty. So, she walked away. Life didn’t stop testing her. She found a small job and adjusted herself, trying to make peace with what was left. But just as she was learning to stand, her body betrayed her. Weight gain, fatigue, weakness—why her? A...

The Two Faces of a Feminine

Aarohi had always been a quiet girl, raised to believe that silence was strength. But silence never helped her when her boss took credit for her work, when her family dismissed her dreams, or when she felt invisible in a room full of voices. One evening, she wandered into a temple, not out of faith but out of exhaustion. The massive idol of Goddess Durga stood before her—fierce, powerful, yet with eyes full of warmth. Aarohi found herself whispering, "How do you do it? How are you strong and kind at the same time?" Life answered soon enough. The next morning, her boss interrupted her again in a meeting. This time, Aarohi didn’t shrink. “Actually, I led that project,” she said, her voice steady. For the first time, people listened. The fire of Durga had ignited within her. That evening, her younger brother called, struggling with his career choices. She set aside her work and listened patiently, guiding him without judgment. In that moment, she was Durga, the mother—offering s...

A Game of Shadows

What I like never longs for me, A fleeting dream, a restless sea. I reach, I yearn, I hope, I chase, Yet love dissolves without a trace. What I try slips through my hands, Like grains of time in sinking sands. I build, I break, I start again, Yet victory hides beyond my pen. What I do, though done with might, Never turns my dark to light. I shape, I bend, I twist, I turn, Yet still, the flames refuse to burn. A game of fate, a cruel jest, Where effort yields a hollow quest. Yet in the ashes, I still stand, With hope, a spark within my hand.

A new moon on hot summer night

The full moon hums a silver tune, Drifting high in velvet June. Softent breezes weave and glide, Brushing whispers far and wide. The trees stand still in quiet grace, Bathed in light's ethereal lace. Rippling streams reflect the glow, A dance of stars in waves below. Night's breath cool upon my skin, A peareful hush where "dreams begin". No rush, no race, junt time net free, A summer night's sweet melody. Hi every one my name is Velvet, I am exploring My passion for writing by blogging, comment my mistakes and suggest for improvement. Here is my small poetry about night sky with bright stars staring girl in hot weather cool breeze. Hope you all like it. Thank you!
